Aim of the course
To provide comprehensive dental care to his pediatric patients in order to produce a more ideal oral structure from a metabolic, functional & esthetic view point in these growing organisms
It provides experience in proper management, behavior modification & the ability to establish a positive attitude towards dental treatment in child patient
Course Contents
Practical:
• Proper case selection
• Clinic regulations & application of rubber dam
• Chair positions /operator`s position
• Lay out for bracket table & cleanliness
• Wrapping, infection control & asepsis
• Selection of instruments
• Behavior management
• Diagnostic chart
• Local anesthesia & extraction
• Cavity preparation & restoration & Pulp therapy
• Space maintenance problems
• Preparation for chrome steel crowns
• Obtaining radiographs
• Giving postoperative instructions

a6- Describe pulp therapy techniques for primary & young permanent teeth
