Aim of the course
This course provides the student with overall useful knowledge about pediatric dentistry in an attempt to implement it on his pediatric dental patients in order to develop a more ideal oral structure from a metabolic, functional & esthetic view point in these growing organisms

• Introduction to pediatric dentistry
• Chronology and age determination in children
• Eruption and life cycle of primary and permanent teeth
• Morphology of primary and permanent teeth and their clinical significance
• Non pharmacological behavior management
• Oral and dental aspects of child abuse and neglect
• Radiographic examination in children
• Advanced radiographic techniques for children
• Nutrition and dental health
